YANKEE EQUIPMENT SYSTEMS, INC.
was established by Don Cook and Ted Ristaino in 1988. The company’s vision was to sell, deliver, and service the best lines of
equipment in the laundry industry in the most professional way possible Twenty years later, that early vision is still alive and well.
We distribute and service commercial laundry equipment for various laundry applications. Our territory is all six New England states and Upstate New York.Laundromats, hotels, nursing homes, schools, and linen suppliers are counted among our customers. Service technicians and sales persons live in the territory in which they serve, assuring you the quickest possible response to your needs. We proudly sell products manufactured by Alliance Laundry Systems, Pellerin Milnor, American Dryer, Chicago Dryer, American Changer, Standard Change Makers, Hamilton Engineering, and many others. Our sales and service teams are continuously receiving ongoing education provided by the manufacturers. We also pass along this education by performing free service schools to coin laundry customers, as well as service seminars for the On Premise Laundry (OPL) operators. Yankee Equipment Systems, Inc. also hosts multiple seminars around New England and Upstate New York for the potential investor into the Laundromat industry. Typically there is a round of seminars in the spring and the fall. Please check our calendar and our seminars tab on our website for specific details. Our longest standing tradition is the Annual St. Patrick’s Day Trade Show for Laundromat customers. This trade show has run continuously since Yankee’s inception. It has become so popular it had to be moved from Faneuil Hall in Boston to the Westin Hotel in Waltham, MA. The experienced, educated, caring professionals of Yankee when partnered with high quality manufacturers, and innovative entrepreneurial laundry owners and operators produce a team that is hard to beat.
